In compliance with Legislative Decree 24/23 (known as “Whistleblowing”), Medipower has defined and adopts the following procedure for reporting irregularities, known as Whistleblowing.

Who can report

  • Company employees under any contract or temporary agency work; occasional workers;
  • Persons with administrative, management, control, supervisory, and representation roles (including de facto) of the Company;
  • Shareholders;
  • Workers or collaborators of entities that supply goods or services or perform work for third parties; and freelancers and consultants who work for the Company.

What can you report?

  • Relevant misconduct pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, including violations of company procedures or the Code of Ethics;
  • Offences falling within the scope of the European or national legislation listed in the Annex to the Decree or the national legislation implementing the European Union acts listed in the Annex to Directive (EU) 2019/1937;
  • Acts or omissions that harm the financial interests of the European Union (for example, fraud, corruption, and any other illegal activity related to European Union expenditure);
  • Acts or omissions affecting the internal market (for example, violations of competition and state aid);
  • Acts or conduct that frustrate the object or purpose of the provisions of European Union acts.

How long will the report be responded to?

  • 7 days for confirmation of receipt and handling, 3 months for the conclusion of the investigation and communication of actions.

Will the whistleblower be protected?

  • Yes, confidentiality will be maintained during the investigation and, once concluded, against any form of retaliation. It is also specified that appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken against those who, with intent or gross negligence, make reports that prove to be unfounded.
